Our members may be interested in a number of films in this year's film festival, of which JGSGB is a co-sponsor. The three listed below may be of particular interest. Clementine has explicit genealogical content, as did this director's earlier film The Green Dumpster Mystery (and you should be able to attend our own program that starts at 1:30 that afternoon and then zip out to Brandeis).

Q&A with filmmaker Jonathan Gruber & Jonathan D. Sarna, Professor Brandeis University and editor of Jews and the Civil War. Book signing with Dr. Sarna will follow.

The director of The Green Dumpster Mystery (Jewishfilm.2009) embarks on another fascinating investigation that mirrors the development of Israel itself.
