A number of people responded to my earlier request to let me
know if you are planning to attend the IAJGS Jewish genealogy
conference in Washington (or
are even thinking about it), but I know that there are others who
are going who did not respond. So I'm asking again. You can
respond simply by replying to this message, or you can compose a
message to email [at] jgsgb.org.
As you know, the international conference will be held here in Boston in August 2013. We have
some small projects we would like to carry out at the Washington
conference to help in the planning for ours. For example, we would
like to give the JGSGB attendees a checklist of things to try to
notice in Washington so that we can compile a list of problems to
avoid and good features to be sure to include.
Jet Blue Airfares
Someone wrote to us that Jet Blue fares to Washington in August
were just $54 each way. I have not verified that the fare is in
effect now, but anyone planning to fly might want to check and to
consider booking now. (Since JetBlue doesn't charge for the first
checked bag, one saves an additional $50 round-trip compared to
most other airlines.)
