Our society was treated to a fascinating lecture on Sunday, September 11, by Prof. Antony Polonsky. Here are two items that follow up on that lecture.

1. The lecture was recorded, and JGSGB members may order a CD with MP3 audio files of the lecture via our website (jgsgb.org). Under the "Member Services" tab, click on "Audio Recordings".
   
   
2. For those who did not pick up a flyer about Prof. Polonsky's books with the 20% discount offer (valid until November 30), I have scanned the flyer and can send the PDF file to anyone who is interested. There is an order code that provides the 20% discount for any of the following:
   
   The Jews of Poland and Russia, Volume 1, 1350 to 1881   ($47.60)
   The Jews of Poland and Russia, Volume 2, 1881 to 1914   ($47.60)
   The Jews of Poland and Russia, Volume 1, 1914 to 2005   ($55.60)
   The journal Polin, volumes 19, 20, 21, 22, or 23   (discounted prices vary with the volume)
   
   Shipping is $5.85 for the first book and $1.85 for each additional book.
