![]() If you enjoyed the International Conference on Jewish Genealogy that we hosted in Boston last summer, I'd like to encourage you to consider attending this year's conference in Salt Lake City, July 27 to August 1, 2014. There will be many new lectures and workshops and a special focus on World War I and its effects on Jewish communities worldwide. In addition to the incredible program offered by the conference itself, in Salt Lake City you can take advantage of the Family History Library, the world's most extensive collection of genealogical records. You can read here the tongue-in-cheek report that Jay Sage wrote after he returned from the Salt Lake City conference in 2000. Note that the discounted early-bird registration rate is available only through May 31. Registration is open here. Check out the outstanding program here. I hope you'll consider joining our Greater Boston delegation in Salt Lake City this summer. Heidi Urich |
