Jewish Genealogy: Discover Your Family History

Course meets 8 Wednesday evenings from March 1 to April 26, 2017

Taught by the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston

7:00 - 9:30 PM at Hebrew College in Newton Centre, MA

Class limited to 24 students. Tuition: $250

• Basic research strategies & skills
  
• Online resources & tools
  
• Jewish names and customs
  
• Migration history & changing borders
  
• Immigrant ancestors & U.S. records
  
• European & Israeli records
  
• Holocaust victims & survivors
  
• Organize & publish your research 

Students should have experience using the Web and are strongly encouraged to bring laptops or tablets to class to participate in Web-based hands-on workshops. Students who miss a class will find PowerPoint slides, class handouts, and audio recordings of lectures on the course website.
