New Member Service: One-on-One Research Assistance

A new member service will be initiated at our October meeting: one-on-one sessions with an experienced researcher to help members advance their research. Sessions will last 30 minutes and will be held at 1:00 (just before our regular programs) and at 4:00 (right after our programs). Requests for assistance will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Two requirements must be met:

1. You must be a current JGSGB member. Renew or join at join.jgsgb.org.
   
   
2. You must register in advance. Complete the form at 1on1.jgsgb.org

The form includes questions about the nature of the help you would like so that an appropriate mentor can be found and so that some preliminary work might be done in advance. The form will also give you an idea of the kinds of assistance the Society hopes to provide.
