JGSGB Genealogy Course at Hebrew College Foundations of Jewish Genealogical Research
"Only a genealogist regards a step backwards as progress."
For a fifth year, the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston (JGSGB) and Hebrew College will be offering the award-winning " Foundations of Jewish Genealogical Research," an intensive 8-session course to provide serious adult students with the tools to research their family origins. In August 2009, the JGSGB received the Outstanding Program Award from the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies for creating and teaching this comprehensive course that "moves students from the basics to finding ancestral records in Europe."
