We were saddened to learn that Sara Schafler Kelman passed away in early May. Sara was president of the JGSGB from 1988 to 1991 and guided its transformation from the Jewish Genealogy Study Group of Boston to the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston. She was a lovely person who encouraged many of the Society’s future leaders.
